Eddie The Bronco II

This is ‘Eddie’, and if it looks familiar to you, it’s because it used to be owned by TRS forum member ‘Totalled’ (Pat Manning). Pat passed suddenly in June 2017 but his 1985 Ford Bronco II lives on. Now owned by Harley Fields, A.K.A. ‘The Mud Addict’, Harley has tried to keep the Bronco II as close to the way that Pat had it. Here’s the Bronco II from back when it was Pat’s:

Extended Radius Arms

Pat had one of the first sets of extended Radius arms offered by James Duff and even had them signed by James Duff himself. Unfortunately, they broke. I’ve seen cases of these original designs breaking before. James Duff has long since redesigned their arms. Harley plans to repair the James Duff arms and get them installed back under the Bronco II.

This isn’t Harley’s only Bronco II. He has another Bronco II named Hellboy that’s more of an extreme build than ‘Eddie’ is. But that doesn’t mean Eddie doesn’t get any trail time. As you can see from the photos below, Eddie definitely gets used.

I appreciate the fact that Harley has kept this Bronco II alive and keeps it true to its original build. I look forward to seeing it with the James Duff radius arms back on it someday.
