1984 Ford Bronco II Yellow Chop Top

We thought we would share this 1984 Ford Bronco II that was listed (now sold) for sale online. And while it still sports a weak axle and suspension setup, we do really like the modifications done to the body and interior.

From what we can see from examining the Bronco II and the original listing, the specifications would be:

  • 1984 Ford Bronco II
  • Ford 302 V8 conversion
  • Ford 3-speed Automatic (Likely a C4, but the 1984 Bronco II did come with a C5)
  • Dana 28 front TTB axle
  • Ford 7.5-Inch rear axle
  • 33×15.5×15 Mickey Thompson Baja Belted Tires
  • Rough Country 4-inch suspension kit / drop brackets
  • 3-Inch body lift
  • Bushwacker fender flares
  • Custom canvas top
  • Autometer Gauges
  • Pioneer Stereo
  • Chopped top with custom roll cage
  • Racing bucket seats
  • Pilot steering wheel

Hopefully the body and cage work on this Bronco II will be an inspiration to others.

Except…… maybe do a Dana 44 swap, or at least swap in a Dana 35 TTB along with new brackets and longer radius arms to handle those 33’s.

Enjoy the photos!
