In the fall of 2010, I had the opportunity to purchase a 1984 Ford Bronco II 4x4 for $350.00. The vehicle was in Virginia with a bad 5.0L V-8 engine, and rebuilt automatic transmission.  It was a pretty good deal, and my wife and I love random road trips, so we loaded up the trailer and headed south.

The Bronco II was brought home and scrubbed, and then was parked outside my garage for several months.

Work was finally started in June 2011 to get the old Bronco II running and fixed up. I have to admit that I simply didn't have the motivation to work on the truck because of other on-going projects. I finally came up with an idea that was a bit bizarre that gave me the inspiration to get started.
