Driving home last Friday night there was a telephone cable hanging down low enough to hit. Being dark, by the time I saw it there was nothing I could do except slam on the brakes as I hit it.
Sometime before, they moved a telephone pole but they didn't add another back (I'm guessing...) and the cable had stretched down LOW. The distance between the 2 poles now is crazy. I don't know what happened, I just know for some reason the cable was down
You can see in one of the pics of where I ended up stopping. 45mph to 0mph in no distance at all.

It's a scary feeling when you see something hanging down about eye level and you're driving and don't have time to stop. I'm just glad it's just the vehicle. I'm fine. The explorer is fixable. Already went to Pull A Part this morning and picked up a hood, fender, and headlight housing.

I'd be calling them asking them for some money and then some for the damages to the truck.

But that's me.

Yeah I'm going later to talk to my insurance agent with Police Report in hand. See what he says. He's an old family friend that's honest with us instead of trying to make a few extra dollars. Might even go talk to a lawyer friend of mine to.

Things happen. Still makes me mad tho. It's crazy to have to worry about hitting phone lines. What's even worse is after you stop and you don't know if it's power lines or phone lines. You always hear don't get out if its power lines! I had no way of knowing in the dark (other than I didn't see flashing or sparks)

i'm an insurance adjuster, the only way the power company or phone company would pay for your damage is if it is found out that the line was sagging due to their negligence (or one of their employees). if yall had storms or wind and the line was blown loose or something, then they wont see it as their fault and they wont pay you. not that it isnt worth looking into, just dont get your hopes up. retaining a lawyer wouldnt be worth it either. it would cost you more to pay him that to get all the new parts lol.

yeah I know.

however... there was a broken telephone pole that had been REMOVED and never replaced. so there was a span of what should have been 3 poles where there were only 2.... the middle pole was GONE!

and I don't have plans of getting a lawyer or fighting it. Just saying I have a friend that's a lawyer and will be getting his input if needed. He doesn't charge me for "informal" conversations lol

Fortunately, I have never struggled with an acne problem. Nevertheless i am human. Occasionally, I do break out, however. Employed to be once told that Listerine can help cure acne. You will develop time that I broke out with one single pimple, I just for you to try it. Would Listerine work its magic powers and purchase rid of my acne? Or wouldn't it literally just be considered burning disappointment? Exactly what I discovered.

Do widely recognized rosacea treatment that sugar is a great all-natural scrub? So simply include it in any of the facial skin packs and / or make a plan of it with fresh lemon juice and rub it against your facial skin in circular exercises. If you have a sensitive skin, you can skip freshly squeezed lemon juice and use water option.
